About Frontier Works Organization
Established on October 31, 1966, the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is a military engineering entity with a rich history spanning 56 years. It has actively participated in significant events such as the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Operation Parakram, War in North-West Pakistan (Operation Restoration), and Operation Rah-e-Nijat. Recognized as a pivotal scientific and technological command within the Pakistan military, FWO engages in a wide array of projects.
