The Ministry of Defense (MoD) in Pakistan is responsible for ensuring national security and defense of the country. Its main objective is to protect the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and maintain internal stability.

The MoD in Pakistan is headed by the Minister of Defense who is responsible for overall policy-making, coordination, and control of the country’s defense affairs. The Ministry has three main departments:

1. Defense Division: This department is responsible for policy formulation, defense planning, and coordination of defense matters. It also handles the management of defense projects, procurement of defense equipment, and the development of defense industries in the country.
2. Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI): The ISI is Pakistan’s premier intelligence agency and is responsible for collecting and analyzing intelligence information related to national security.
3. Defense Production Division: This department is responsible for the production of defense equipment and technology, as well as the development of the country’s defense industry. It also oversees the management of defense production facilities and ensures their efficient functioning.

Apart from these departments, the MoD also oversees the operations of Pakistan’s armed forces, which include the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, and Pakistan Navy. The Ministry is responsible for ensuring that these forces are equipped and trained to defend the country against internal and external threats.
